Friends of the Library

Friends is a non-profit voluntary and charitable group dedicated to the enhancement of library services for the Edwardsburgh community. The Friends host three main events during the year, monthly book sales and other literary or cultural activities to raise funds for additional services and programs at the Spencerville Branch Library.
In 2010 the FOEPL:

• displayed the work of local artists & school children at the library.
• held a monthly book sale of used books.
• held a spring Garden Tour, tea, and plant sale.
• held S.A.L.A.D. [Spencerville Area Ladies Awareness Day].
• sponsored decorations and events during A Country Christmas Remembered.

Monthly Book Sale

The Friends sponsor a Book Sale on the last Saturday of each month at the library. We have an excellent selection of hard cover fiction, as well as paperbacks, non-fiction, CDs, videos, and children's books. Our books are priced to sell at hardcover $1 each, and all others 50 cents each or 3 for $1. Ask about our vintage books.

Friends Meeting Tuesday February 8, 6:00 pm AGM, 6:30 regular meeting, at the Library. Come and meet a group of people dedicated to supporting our library. All welome.

Become A Member

Your memberships helps the FOEPL provide more services and programs at the Spencerville Branch Library. All members and interested persons are welcome to attend FOEPL meetings.

Family Membership $15.00
